The histories of First Baptist Church of Rockland and Christian Schools, Inc. of Glen Cove intersect at many points.  Many students and faculty were members of First Baptist and served in various capacities within the church ministry.  Elsewhere on this site you will see a printed copy of the school's October 4, 1959 dedication address delivered by Rev. Roy Bohanan, pastor of First Baptist Church at that time.  Due to this long term relationship between the two ministries, we feel that there is significant benefit in including historical artifacts related to the history of First Baptist Church, Rockland, Maine.
